New books about bad celebrity tippers…

There is a new book about bad celebrity tippers-I believe it is written by a former bartender in NYC.  Just love the fact that someone out there is writing about what assholes some people can be. Makes you wonder why someone hasn’t written a book telling the truth about what really goes on in those nice McMansions in the suburbs.  You know, the story about the families abusing the domestic help or just ripping them off. Would make for some good reading but I think you would have to publish several because there are so many stories you could get several books out of it. Why not write about the crazy mom that hit her nanny with the bag of carrots and then took her check. She was arrested, released and then went on to do it again to another nanny. So funny, no one would think to make that a story. I even heard some of the moms defending this women saying that quite possibly the nannies deserved what they got. Hmmmmmmmmmm, would love to hit some of these bitches with a bag of carrots because to defend someone like that should be punishable by being beaten with a root vegetable in a bag.

There has to be someone out there just taking notes and compiling stories about this industry that should get a book deal and let people know what goes on. I know there has to be someone out there, come on.

NANNIES-DON”T CLEAN THEIR HOME!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

What exactly does a nanny do and what are her duties? A nannys’ primary duties all involve working with the children. If there is any household duties they should all be taken care of after the children have been provided for. Household duties are extras and families should have a housekeeper or some other arrangement for maintaining their home.

Now, many people think that nannies are there to cook and clean and then take care of the childre. THEY ARE MOST CERTAINLY NOT THERE FOR THOSE PURPOSES!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

 

Agencies, get a big fucking clue-a nanny takes care of the children, a housekeeper takes care of the home. A nanny should never be described as someone that cleans the house. Nannies, you should never allow yourself to become cheap housekeeping for anyone.  A good housekeeper makes more than you do. Housekeepers in many areas average $30 an hour-when you clean for your employer they are basically taking advantage of you. It’s wrong! As for the families that have figured out that it is cheaper to hire one person to do two jobs-you suck and your kids will suffer because you are a cheap asshole taking advantage of someone.

When an agency or family starts talking about housekeeping duties stop them and tell them you are not a housekeeper you are a nanny. If they tell you that you are expected to do this tell them no and go to another agency or family unless the family pays you for your housekeeping services. Find out how much services get paid and then tell them you can do it if they pay you this much more each week. That should shut them up fast. Maybe if more of you did this there wouldn’t be so many people and agencies telling you otherwise.
